Kiln Dried Firewood
- Higher heat output
- Stronger fuel effieciency
- Minimises flue and stove issues
- More economical
Freshly harvested wood naturally contains a very high amount of water, generally between 85%-90%. The method used to remove this water is called seasoning; meaning using the natural air to dry out the logs over a period of up to two years. With this process the logs can vary in moisture.
LESS MOISTURE = MORE HEAT OUTPUT
THE MORE EFFICIENT A FIRE BURNS, THE LESS FUEL IS NEEDED
